Legislator University is an opportunity for you to learn more about how our government works and help you
become a more effective and efficient Member of the Florida House. At the start of each new term,
classes are offered on a variety of topics covering everything from legislation to House policies. We
are fortunate to have some of the most talented Members and expert policy staff who can teach across a
wide variety of topics.
This year, Legislator University will be offered entirely online via WebEx, the House’s video
conferencing software. It will feature a combination of mandatory courses and electives.
Legislator University classes will be held December 3-4, 10-11, and 14-15. Please click the click to the

- All Members are asked to attend each of the 5 All House Courses (AHC). For your convenience, these
topics are offered at multiple times.
All Members are asked to choose three Specific Subject Courses (SSC) in addition to the All House
New Members, in addition to All House Courses and three Specific Subject Courses, are asked to
complete all General Survey Courses (GSC).
These classes are offered live and are designed to be interactive. You are encouraged to ask questions.
